The international Baccalaureate

• rapidly growing education (1992: 4,200 diplomas; 2003: 37,000 diplomas)

• strong emphasis on international understanding, responsible citizenship and critical thinking

The International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma is a two-year upper secondary programme taught in English, however many IB-students at Nyborg Gymnasium have also followed our pre-IB year, which is equivalent to the Danish 1.g year, but taught in English.
